I am a principal advisor working on platform engineering and developer experience in a large regulated organization.

This blog is where I think out loud about platform engineering in regulated environments: governance, complexity, organization, and the constitutional questions the discipline rarely names as such. The posts draw on published literature and on patterns visible across many large organizations, not on the internal affairs of any particular one. Some of what I write here will be at odds with established practice, including practice I have participated in. That is the point of writing it down.
